• Strongcomputer skills (QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook,) and accounting knowledge
• Twoor more years of hands-on Human Resources administration
• Workingknowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Constructionindustry experience is a plus
What You'll Do
Whilenot a day-to-day description, the overall duties include:
Payroll& Benefits Administration
• Processespayroll accurately and timely, ongoing auditing of payrolltransactions
• Coordinatespayroll changes and respond to payroll questions.
• Maintainspayroll records, employee files and HRIS records.
• Ensurespayroll processing and reporting comply with applicable federal andstate requirements.
• Coordinatesleave requests, maintaining required documentation and tracks leave timeliness
• Coordinatesthe company's full cycle of health, welfare insurance, and 401(k)benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee support.
Recruiting& Onboarding
• Partnerswith managers to identify staffing needs.
• Coordinatesthe recruitment process from job posting through candidateselection, hiring, and onboarding.
• Coordinatesnew hire orientation and onboarding activities.
HumanResources & Compliance
• Understandsand applies sound employment laws and practices to all interactions,asks for help if unsure.
• Implementscorrect employment procedures both legal and best practices, such asperformance management, corrective action, and separation.
• Assistsmanagement with policy interpretation and consistent application ofemployment practices.
Employee Experience
• Partnerswith company leadership to support the day-to-day employeeexperience while fostering a compliant, responsive, and supportivework environment.
