POSITION SUMMARY: The Solutions Architect - Corporate Applications serves as the technical lead for the Enterprise Applications team and is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise application solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role supports key enterprise platforms including Workday, iCIMS, Dynamics, QuickBase, and other custom developed products and ensures the successful development, integration, and operation of enterprise applications and supporting technologies.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, the Solutions Architect - Corporate Applications translates business needs into scalable and secure technical solutions. The role requires a well-rounded technologist capable of developing custom applications, designing integrations between enterprise systems, supporting DevOps processes, and delivering targeted technology solutions that improve business operations while aligning with USAP's enterprise technology standard.

The base pay estimate for this role is $107,700 - $183,100 annually. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on individual and company performance. 

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

  • Serves as the technical lead for the Enterprise Applications team, designing and documenting application architecture aligned with well-architected framework principles and enterprise technology standards.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to define application and platform vision and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Works closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure enterprise architecture standards are implemented at the application level, conducting architecture and code reviews and providing development guidance to DevOps teams.
  • Designs and implements integrations between enterprise platforms and other business systems.
  • Develops and maintains point solutions and lightweight applications, and RPA's using QuickBase, Ui Path and other low-code platforms to support business workflows.
  • Supports development and DevOps processes for Microsoft Azure-based custom applications including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilizes automation technologies such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and UiPath to improve business efficiency.
  • Participates in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging technologies to ensure enterprise applications remain secure, modern, and scalable.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field required, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of application development experience in an Azure environment working across Platform as a Service, Software as a Service, Infrastructure as Code and other associated microservices. 5+ years of experience developing applications using modern programming languages such as C# and JavaScript. 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, at least three years of experience with SQL Azure and one year of experience with Cosmo DB preferred. 5+ years of experience using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python and Perl. 3+ years of experience using current versions of Entity and MVC frameworks. Solid knowledge and experience working with Azure Dev Ops technology with focus on CI/CD pipelines and GIT repositories. Solid knowledge of Agile Methodology and 2+ years of working in a Scrum team setting. Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Workday, Dynamics and other HR and Finance systems and integrations. Experience with low-code platforms such as QuickBase, Microsoft Power Apps, or similar technologies. Experience working with healthcare systems and data, including understanding of HIPAA, PHI protection, and healthcare regulatory compliance, is preferred. Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and system integrations. Ability to lead technical efforts across multiple concurrent initiatives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with technical teams and business stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance principles in a healthcare environment.
