The group you'll be a part of

The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

The impact you'll make

At Lam, as an Expeditor, you play an integral role in meeting production schedules. You'll coordinate, route, and expedite materials to address shortages. Your expertise extends to the proper routing of incoming materials and monitoring the flow of materials between departments to meet scheduled commitments. Your contribution ensures smooth material handling, supporting Lam's commitment to operational excellence.

What you'll do
  • Act as the frontline point of contact for Manufacturing material-related concerns.
  • Prepare for and participate in Production and Shortage Mitigation meetings.
  • Update and monitor QuickBase reports for shortages, both HVM and Pilot.
  • Escalate cross-functional Work In Progress (WIP) issues.
  • Identify and process T2T/De-kit options and transactions.
  • Handle ICHOLD requests.
  • Manage material cart escalations and Spares STO requests.
  • Provide customer machine-down STO coverage (nights and weekends).
  • Manage Engineering Stock Room (ESR) requests.
  • Oversee final test and pre-ship operation releases for manufacturing and pre-ship operations for Pilot.
  • Identify and mitigate no-stock MTT issues and approve MTTs.
  • Perform part costing when necessary.
  • RTS/NCi transactions, including removing and issuing stock.
  • Execute stock blocking and unblocking transactions (262/344 and 231/343).
  • Create non-scrap IDACs and monitor for approval.
  • Close WIP-related work orders.
  • Manage de-kits, loaners, and make process materials.
  • Delete and re-peg demand using MD04 and ME22N.
  • Delete deliveries using ZRDLTDEL.
Who we're looking for
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to utilize computer-based data systems and applications.
  • Has an understanding of continuous improvement.
  • High attention to detail, flexible, able to easily adapt to change, and proactive in taking initiative.
  • Able to navigate and use Microsoft Office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
