Mandatory Skills: API Design & Development experience, RESTful, Exposure to API Management Gateway, Java or.NET Desired Skills: Microservices, API Integration, API Security, Any Cloud Exposure Strong knowledge of RESTful design principles and best practices and system integration using APIs (Extensive hands-on experience with an API management gateway software like Apigee or Azure API Management or equivalent with the knowledge of API mashups, analytics, developer networks, monetization models and security) Minimum 5+ years of development experience using Java or .NET, XML, JSP or ASP, JavaScript or VB Script and Node.js; WSDLSOAP/XML and REST/JSON, Swagger or equivalent Proficiency in API development tools and frameworks such as Swagger, RAML, or Postman Experience with API security protocols and standards like OAuth, SSL/TLS, OpenID, TLS, SAML, SSO, PKI (encryption and key management) and JWT Understanding of data formats and protocols such as JSON, XML, and HTTP Ability to design APIs and microservices that are scalable, flexible, and easy to maintain Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, (iPaas / Saas) Mapping REST to Domain-Driven Design patterns and REST Idempotent operation Should be able to work on Onshore and Offshore model.
