As an Air Logistics Healthcare Customer Care Specialist you will aid and assist clients in all phases of consignment preparation. Handle and monitor Client activities ensuring compliance with all agreed company policies. Handle and monitor live network activities ensuring adherence to agreed rate structures and pricing policies.While workingcollaboratively with all other departments to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

How you create impact

In this role, you will manage time-sensitive healthcare consignments from booking through delivery while keeping clients informed throughout the shipment lifecycle. You will coordinate routing, service requirements, deadlines, temperature-controlled packaging, tracking, documentation, and exception management to ensure each consignment is handled accurately and in line with client expectations.

  • Process client consignment orders received by email, telephone, and the Quickonline booking portal, including routing, service classification, deadline establishment, and job order creation.
  • Manage the green light approval process for consignments moving to non-EU destinations.
  • Track and trace consignments throughout transit and provide clients with continuous status updates.
  • Communicate flight delays, customs delays, proof of delivery, additional charges, resolutions, and other important shipment updates.
  • Monitor and respond to client emails through the shared mailbox.
  • Calculate and arrange suitable temperature-controlled packaging and logger supplies.
  • Process daily client reports and manifests.
  • Monitor and action special alarms through Quick Track.
  • Work with the pricing team to provide requested quotations in a timely manner.
  • Support Customer Relationship Managers and Key Account Managers with client bookings, inquiries, and issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
  • Answer calls professionally, take accurate messages, and relay relevant information when the intended recipient is unavailable.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
What we would like you to bring

You will bring a strong understanding of biopharmaceutical courier operations and the urgency, accuracy, and compliance required when handling time-sensitive healthcare shipments. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, solving problems quickly, and working closely with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical courier operations and customer service.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of courier and freight operations, including import, export, warehouse, and transportation processes.
  • Strong understanding of world geography, global time zones, and transit milestones such as COB and POD.
  • Knowledge of temperature-controlled packaging solutions available for pharmaceutical shipments.
  • Understanding of country-specific import and export requirements for pharmaceutical products.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to evaluate options, anticipate risks, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, strong ownership, and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and the ability to remain productive under changing priorities and pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and self-motivation.
