Personal Trainer - Client-Focused, Growth Opportunity

Anytime Fitness

Richmond, IN • On-site

$18 - $26/hr

Part-time

Posted 5 days ago

Job description

We’re not looking for someone who just “likes fitness.” We’re looking for a coach—someone who can build relationships, deliver results, and grow a loyal client base.
This is a great opportunity for a trainer who wants to take ownership of their income and career, not just clock in and wait for clients to be handed to them.
What You’ll Do:
  • Coach clients through personalized training sessions (1:1 and small group).
  • Build and maintain your own client base (we support you—you still need to hustle).
  • Deliver a high-energy, professional training experience.
  • Help members stay accountable and actually get results.
  • Maintain a clean, organized training environment.
  • Communicate consistently with clients (follow-ups, check-ins, retention).
What We’re Looking For:
  • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc. preferred).
  • Strong people skills—you can talk to anyone and build trust quickly.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven (this is not a “wait around” job).
  • Sales confidence or willingness to learn (this matters—a lot).
  • Reliable, professional, and accountable.
  • Passion for helping people improve their health and confidence.
What You’ll Get:
  • Opportunity to grow your income based on your effort.
  • Support in building your client base (but not handouts).
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Positive, motivated gym environment.
  • Room to grow within the business.
Who This Is NOT For:
  • Trainers who expect clients to be handed to them.
  • Anyone who struggles with consistency or accountability.
  • People who just want to “work out and hang out”.
How to Apply Send a short message telling us:
  • Why you’d be a great fit.
  • Your certification(s) and experience.
  • A quick example of how you’ve helped someone get results.
If you want to build something real—not just pick up shifts—we want to hear from you.
