Vision Quest Solutions is seeking a highly professional, dependable, and discreet Executive Driver to support transportation operations for senior leadership and authorized personnel within the National Institutes of Health environment.


This position supports secure, confidential, and time-sensitive executive transportation assignments throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The selected driver will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, and professional transportation using Government-owned vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, communication, and situational awareness.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional driver who understands executive-level service, confidentiality, safe vehicle operations, and the importance of representing the organization with professionalism at all times.


Key Responsibilities

The Executive Driver will be responsible for:

  • Providing safe, secure, and professional transportation for authorized executive personnel.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all passengers, schedules, destinations, conversations, and information observed during assignments.
  • Monitoring traffic, route conditions, weather, security concerns, and other environmental factors to support timely and safe arrivals.
  • Adjusting routes as needed based on traffic, road closures, safety considerations, or scheduling changes.
  • Communicating professionally with scheduling personnel regarding assignments, movement updates, delays, or changes.
  • Operating Government-owned vehicles in accordance with NIH policies, applicable laws, and safe-driving standards.
  • Maintaining assigned vehicles in a clean, safe, and mission-ready condition.
  • Ensuring vehicles and keys are properly secured when not in use.
  • Promptly reporting maintenance issues, damage, incidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate point of contact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license appropriate for the class of vehicle operated.
  • A minimum of five years of professional driving experience.
  • A safe driving record with no recent serious traffic violations.
