About the Role:

Provide safe and reliable transportation for students in a school-based setting. This role is responsible for ensuring student safety during transit, maintaining vehicle compliance, and supporting students with diverse learning, social, and behavioral needs. You will play a key role in helping students access their educational programs and activities. We are looking for drivers who reside in Elk Grove, Roseville, Sacramento, and surrounding regions to transport students to and from our El Dorado Hills campus.

What You'll Do:

Safely operate school vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
Monitor and supervise students during transportation to ensure a safe environment
Follow proper procedures for loading, unloading, and securing students, including wheelchair securement when needed
Complete daily logs including attendance, behavior reports, and fuel tracking
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
Transport students to and from school, appointments, and school-related activities
Run program-related errands such as package deliveries or additional route needs
Utilize GPS or maps to ensure efficient and timely routes

DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance

Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred:

Experience transporting students with special needs
Two-year degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
CPR or First Aid certification
