As a fully remote telehealth practice, our team employs contemporary technology to connect with clients. • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed evaluations of clients to effectively analyze their trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Develop and implement individual therapy programs centered around trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with tools to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster healing in a supportive setting.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure clients receive integrated and holistic treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to mitigate adverse outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and community resources to enhance understanding and support systems.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to optimize patient care.
• Engage in team consultations, professional development initiatives, and stay current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma treatment.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including complexities associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the rewarding opportunity to assist these individuals in navigating their healing journeys, fostering resilience, and empowering them to reclaim their lives.

• Possession of a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to practice as a mental health counselor.
• A solid understanding of trauma-related conditions and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a nonjudgmental, empathetic demeanor toward clients.
• Strong communication capabilities that foster trust and openness with patients.
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in high-pressure situations, ensuring patient safety and emotional well-being.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in various computer applications.
• A collaborative mindset that encourages teamwork and integration across departmental functions.

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value the passion for trauma-informed care and welcome candidates with varying levels of expertise who are enthusiastic about improving their skills in this critical area.

The role offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide:
