Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The HR & Recruiting Coordinator serves as the operational hub for both Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at LAUNCH’s Wichita, Kansas facility. This position coordinates the hiring process while providing onsite HR support. This role does not perform full-cycle recruiting, but serves as the 'quarterback' of the hiring process by coordinating recruiting activities, onboarding, HR support, timekeeping administration, and employee relations support.

Recruiting Coordination
  • Coordinate the end-to-end hiring process.
  • Partner with General Manager on staffing priorities and requisitions.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team on candidate movement.
  • Coordinate interviews, interview feedback, and offers.
  • Partner with Senior HR Coordinator on background checks, drug screens, and onboarding. 
  • Monitor hiring timelines and ensure each new hire is able to begin work on their expected start date.
  • Manage requisitions and candidates in ADP. 
  • Maintain candidate records and recruiting documentation.
  • Generate recruiting reports and hiring metrics.
Human Resources Support
  • Serve as the onsite HR representative for employees.
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality with employee information.
  • Train new hires on LAUNCH policies and workplace expectations during orientation.
  • Assist HR with employee relations matters and investigations. Coordinate meetings and document conversations. Maintain confidential records and assist with follow-up.
  • Administer ADP Time & Attendance. Monitor employee punches, ensure managers approve weekly timecards, and assist with timekeeping corrections and questions.

Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 2–4 years of recruiting coordination, HR coordination, or talent acquisition support experience.
  • Manufacturing, aviation, MRO, industrial, or staffing experience preferred.
  • Experience using Bullhorn ATS preferred.
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now Recruiting and Time & Attendance preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
