Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking a mid‑level associate with 3+ years of experience to join the Commercial Litigation practice in our San Diego office. Applicants should have comprehensive skills in researching complex legal issues, drafting legal memoranda and motions, appearing and arguing at hearings in court and in arbitration, drafting and responding to written discovery, and taking and defending depositions. Applicants must have a background in complex commercial litigation such as class action defense, complex contract disputes, business torts, trade secrets, and unfair competition. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, paired with the skills, enthusiasm and commitment to grow their practice and excel at this firm. Qualified applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript and writing sample.

Quarles offers competitive salaries, bonus, and great benefits to employees including paid time off, health, vision, dental, 401k, life, disability and much more. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education, and skills of the applicant, including book of business for more experienced roles, and other job‑related factors. The range for associates is $175,000 to $280,000 per year.
