Job description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As we scale our platform of investment intelligence products, we are seeking someoneย to lead the intersection of quantitative research, AI innovation, and product strategy. You will shape how systematic investing, personalization, and intelligent systems redefine the investor experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move fluidly between portfolio theory, model development, AI systems, and product strategy. You will translate cutting-edge quantitative research and AI capabilities into scalable, revenue-generating investment products.ย

THE ROLE:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of quantitative model development - from ideation and backtesting to production deployment - across portfolio construction, risk, and factor modeling.
  • Shape AI-driven investment intelligence by embedding LLMs, ML, and generative AI directly into research, analytics, and advisor workflows.
  • Own a high-impact product roadmap at the intersection of quantitative finance and AI, with direct influence over revenue-generating capabilities.

  • 5-10+ years in quantitative investment research, portfolio optimization, or investment product development
  • Proven ability to bridge quant research and production platform implementation
  • Strong Python skills; hands-on coder comfortable working alongside engineering
  • Deep expertise in quant strategy development - portfolio optimization, risk/factor modeling, and statistical/predictive modeling
  • Practical experience applying modern AI/ML (transformers, LLMs, NLP, embeddings) to production investment workflows, including agentic pipelines

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:

$150,000 - $225,000 USD, commensurate with experience.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates currently outside of the Boulder area.
