Senior Python Software Engineer, Python Applications, Unique Start Up, U.S. Company.

Perm-Direct Hire role, Expanding Team, Unique Consumer Data Based Application.

Our Mission: We’re a fast-moving startup unlocking secure, meaningful access to sensitive consumer data—think health, finance, and beyond. Our platform turns fragmented data into actionable insights, with privacy at its core.

What You’ll Build:

  • Scalable backend services in Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js
  • Secure data ingestion pipelines (FHIR, Plaid, or similar)
  • High-performance PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB integrations
  • Full Stack Applications Development...front end coding development: JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML, Vue, SPA or similar.
  • Clean, test-driven code with full coverage
  • CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployment
  • Privacy-first architecture for sensitive consumer data, experience with PyCrypto, PyCA and/or the Python Security Toolkit are pluses

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in a similar Full-Stack Python Developer role for a smaller company or a startup company.
  • Recent/Current Experience with Python-based Consumer/Customer/Non-Business Facing Web Based Applications Development.
  • 5+ years backend Python focused software engineering/applications development experience
  • Strong with FastAPI, Node.js, and data ingestion APIs
  • Experience creating and coding the front end of Python based applications: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTMX, Angular, React, etc.
  • Deep database connectivity expertise (experience with ETL development is a plus)
  • Experience working in a Test-driven development environment (where you have tested your own code)
  • CI/CD pipeline creation experience
  • Experience creating software and applications with heavy data security and data privacy component (ideally for consumer data) is a strong plus.
