Must-Have (Technical Expertise & Core Responsibilities)

  • Programming:
    • 3+ years developing enterprise-level solutions in C++
    • Working knowledge of Python
    • Experience developing robust, maintainable, and extensible code
  • Domain Knowledge:
    • Understanding of risk concepts in trading environments
    • Familiarity with trading desk technologies and workflows

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Houston ambassador for the new Risk & PnL engine rollout
  • Collaborate with London team on development for Americas business needs
  • Develop reports, tools, and functionalities using the Risk & PnL engine components
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions for the CTRM system
  • Travel regularly to London for team collaboration (estimated 20-30%)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills (full English proficiency)
  • Strong ownership mentality with ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving skills for ambiguous technical/business challenges

Nice-to-Have (Preferred Experience):

  • Knowledge of derivative risk concepts (option pricing, Greek risk measures)
