JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Systems & Compliance Specialist is located in Winfield, Kansas, and supports site quality performance by maintaining quality systems, documentation, calibration compliance, PPAP activities, and measurement system processes. This role helps ensure product quality, audit readiness, and compliance with customer, regulatory, corporate, and site requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate PPAP activities, including submission preparation, validation support, approval tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Administer HQMS document control processes, including document creation, revision, approval, distribution, archival, and periodic review.
  • Ensure controlled documentation complies with applicable ISO, customer, regulatory, corporate, and site quality system requirements.
  • Manage the site calibration program to ensure inspection and test equipment is maintained, calibrated, documented, and compliant.
  • Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities to validate measurement capability and improve data reliability.
  • Support new product launches, engineering changes, and manufacturing process changes by completing applicable quality system requirements.
  • Participate in internal, customer, and third-party quality audits; support investigations, corrective actions, preventive actions, and closure of findings.
  • Maintain quality system metrics for PPAP, document control, calibration, MSA, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality system procedures, document control, calibration, and measurement system practices.
  • Support continuous improvement using PEAK and quality tools to improve process capability, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks, strengthen standard work, and improve compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or a related function preferred.
  • Experience with PPAP, quality documentation, calibration programs, inspection systems, or Measurement System Analysis preferred.
  • Working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, calibration systems, inspection equipment, and basic metrology principles.
  • Experience with electronic quality or document management systems preferred; HQMS experience a plus.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, product requirements, quality standards, and controlled documents.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Power BI or statistical analysis experience is a plus.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
