Job description

Role Description:

Provide development and support of the Quality program to ensure achievement of Ardagh corporate and plant strategic quality goals communicating emerging trends and risks to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Support

  • Support internal customers through increased focus on quality program and improvements.
  • Provide service and support for quality systems, GMP/Housekeeping, audits and procedural compliance.
  • Provide quality training and support to employees at all levels, as needed.
  • Provide internal support for problem solving and implementation of quality improvements.
  • Manage the refinement and improvement of Corporate and Plant Quality procedures to meet strategic needs.
  • Manage compliance to internal/external audits and assist with strategy to ensure success.
  • Lead quality events at manufacturing locations when requested.
  • Maintain procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation to ensure compliance
  • Build accountability and promote quality culture across departments
  • Liaison for plants quality and corporate to ensure alignment
  • Data entry into customers' required systems or portals

Customers/Commercial/Supply Chain:

  • Customer/Supplier audit, specification and documentation support
  • Review of customer/supplier contract language as needed for quality and technical capability, alignment to our business.

Regulatory/Legal:

  • Regulatory documentation assembly, storage, revision and distribution to customers annually and as requested. 
  • Interface with Legal and R&D on documentation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Quality management or related field
  • 5 years management experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma training
  • Industry experience - minimum 5 years
  • Strong technical aptitude for manufacturing process
  • Advanced statistical capabilities. 
  • SQF certification
  • Documentation organization and administration

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $110,900.00 and $166,300.00 per year.  This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on the company meeting or exceeding certain targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
