Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our Quality team at our Coldwater, Michigan facility.

This role is responsible for coordinating quality assurance activities, maintaining quality documentation, supporting audits, and partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. The Quality Coordinator plays a key role in supporting compliance initiatives, investigating quality concerns, and driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily quality activities and support the site's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, corrective actions, and controlled documents
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Investigate nonconforming materials, customer concerns, and quality trends while assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and process performance
• Monitor quality metrics, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Support employee training on quality procedures, inspection methods, and documentation requirements
• Assist with supplier quality activities and customer documentation requests as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other regulated quality management systems preferred
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple departments
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or advanced manufacturing environments preferred
