Shift Schedule:
Shift is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., operating 7 days per week. (2-2-3 Schedule)

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Use measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm dimensional accuracy and functional performance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions accurately
  • Identify, label, and properly control non-conforming material in designated Quality Hold areas
  • Record inspection results and test findings clearly, accurately, and completely
  • Partner with production, warehouse, shipping, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and reduce scrap or rework
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to quality-focused decision-making on the production floor
  • Provide additional shift coverage as needed, with advance notice and supervisor approval
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Quality Management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; quality certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and technical documents
  • Experience using standard inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and math/measurement ability
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and ability to learn digital quality systems
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and roll up to 500 pounds
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is a plus
  • Flexibility to support varying shifts and overtime as needed
