Job description

Position: Quality Inspector
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Payrate: $27.00-32.00 DOE
Location: San Fernando Valley

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies for conformance to IPC-J-STD-001 class 3
  • Perform review of assembly documentation for completeness and clarity
  • Utilize work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect data

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in an electronic manufacturing environment, preferably with aerospace/defense contracts
  • Knowledge of ESD control practices
  • Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspections (FAIs)
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace/defense quality systems
  • Skilled in using inspection tools (microscope, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently
  • Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • IPC-A-610 Certification
  • IPC J-STD-001 Certification
  • Understanding of IPC WHMA-A-620
  • Associate degree in industry related field
