Are you detail-oriented with a passion for precision and quality? We’re seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team, performing meticulous inspections of mechanical and electromechanical components to uphold our high standards for workmanship and safety. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a production environment where your expertise makes a real difference.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on parts, subassemblies, and finished products
  • Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators
  • Verify conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records
  • Identify nonconforming material and ensure proper handling for rework or rejection
  • Operate hydraulic, air, and electrical test equipment to assess product quality

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong shop math skills and experience with precision measurement devices
  • Minimum of 2 years’ inspection experience with a technical certificate or 5 years’ experience with a high school diploma
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and understanding of ANSI Y14.5M standards
  • Experience with coordinate measuring machines (preferred)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform detailed visual inspections in a production environment

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with electronic inspection instruments
  • Familiarity with rework processes and documentation for quality control

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Two-year technical certification or equivalent gained through hands-on work experience
  • At least two years of inspection-related experience in a manufacturing setting

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
  • Lift up to 25 pounds and maintain focus during detailed visual inspections
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizen required)
