Quality Inspector

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for electronics and quality excellence? We're looking for a Quality Inspector to play a critical role in ensuring our printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

In this hands-on position, you'll inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products, helping maintain the integrity of our Quality Management System while working alongside a collaborative team of manufacturing and quality professionals.


What You'll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

  • Perform inspections of incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications and standards, including part marking verification, condition assessments, counterfeit part detection, and alcohol testing when required.
  • Inspect in-process and finished PCB assemblies to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and IPC-A-610 criteria.
  • Identify and document defects through visual inspection and measurement techniques.
  • Accurately record and report non-conformances in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and properly use inspection tools and measurement equipment.
  • Collect and record inspection data to support quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare Certificates of Conformance and related quality documentation.
  • Support internal and external quality audits by providing records, data, and inspection information.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
  • Utilize computer systems to document inspection results, track non-conformances, and maintain quality records.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a Quality Inspector or similar manufacturing quality role.
  • Strong visual inspection skills, preferably within electronics or PCB assembly environments.
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manufacturing instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Understanding of electronic components, component identification, and color coding.
  • Experience using measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and related equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience documenting quality records.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a team-first attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC-A-610 certification (highly preferred).
  • Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections of PCB or electronic assemblies.
  • Previous PCB assembly or inspection experience.
  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with formal Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • High school diploma or GED.

Pay and Benefits
