About the Opportunity
A leading manufacturing organization in the San Jose metro area is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support inspection, testing, and quality assurance operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for verifying that materials, assemblies, and finished products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on inspection experience, strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to continuous quality improvement and compliance with ISO standards.
Duties
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and production kits
  • Verify assemblies comply with engineering drawings, work instructions, customer requirements, and quality standards
  • Complete, review, and audit inspection and assembly documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct final product testing and verify packaging meets customer specifications and quality requirements
  • Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, condition, and compliance with established procedures
  • Identify, document, tag, and segregate non-conforming materials in accordance with quality procedures
  • Initiate discrepancy reports and support corrective and preventive action activities
  • Maintain quality records, calibration logs, and documentation to support ISO compliance and audits

Requirements
