If you enjoy working with precision equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, and being the person who spots issues before they become problems, you'll fit right in. This is a hands-on inspection role where your attention to detail genuinely makes a difference.
The Role
As a Senior Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting components, maintaining quality documentation, supporting production teams, and helping ensure compliance with AS9100D requirements. You'll work closely with Quality Engineers and manufacturing teams to keep products moving while maintaining the standards customers expect.
This position suits someone who is confident working independently, comfortable using inspection equipment, and experienced in reading technical drawings and specifications.
What You'll Do
  • Perform receiving and final inspections before parts are released to packaging
  • Inspect components using sampling plans or 100% inspection requirements, depending on customer specifications
  • Operate optical comparators, Vertex inspection equipment, and other quality inspection tools
  • Create and maintain programs for Vertex inspection equipment
  • Review and complete quality documentation in line with AS9100D procedures
  • Support Quality Engineers with self-release inspections when needed
  • Manage and coordinate calibration activities for measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Initiate MRB reviews when quality concerns arise and coordinate involvement from relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain product traceability throughout the inspection process
  • Partner with production teams on in-process inspection requests and quality-related issues

Qualifications
About You / What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of blueprint and drawing interpretation, including GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 standards
  • Hands-on experience with inspection equipment and precision measuring tools
  • Ability to create and manage inspection programs using Vertex equipment
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work with limited supervision while supporting a team environment
  • Comfortable lifting up to 35 pounds as part of normal job duties
  • Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the United States in accordance with applicable regulations

What You'll Get
  • Competitive hourly pay: $27.00 - $35.00
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on your first day of regular full-time employment
  • 401(k) plan
  • Vacation, holiday, and sick time
  • Quarterly bonus opportunity
  • Training and development opportunities to support career growth
  • A team-focused environment where quality is taken seriously, but not at the expense of common sense
