Primary Responsibilities
Inspect components and assembled parts.
Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.
Lead or participate in 5S activities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess a High School diploma/GED with 3-5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
  • Must have experience in leading operations or teams in completing tasks.
  • Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
  • Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in IPC and J standard specifications is preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
  • Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Applicants must be able to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
  • Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with drawing interpretation both Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Previous auditing experience.
  • IPC 610/620 certified.
  • J-STD certified.
