POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Partridge Inn, an iconic historic hotel and member of Hilton’s Curio Collection, is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Food & Beverage to lead our culinary and service teams. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including our award-winning restaurant, rooftop bar and restaurant, in-room dining, and banquets. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and fostering a culture of service excellence and team development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, room service, and banquet events.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive guest satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure high-quality menu offerings, consistency, and innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing food and beverage team with a focus on service, standards, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations as well as Hilton brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Events team on banquet and catering execution, menu planning, and service standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and financial performance.
  • Build strong relationships with guests and clients, handling feedback and service recovery with professionalism and care.
  • Uphold the historical charm and unique experience that defines The Partridge Inn while embracing opportunities for elevated dining and service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in food & beverage within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Strong background in banquet and catering operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing department P&Ls.
  • Familiarity with Hilton systems and standards is a plus.
  • Passion for hospitality, southern charm, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
