Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

The Quality Technician will inspect product according to specifications and standards. Document non conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
  • Assist in 8D and 5Why investigations of issues
  • Read and interpret the requirements of drawings.
  • Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method/equipment to be used for product acceptance.
  • Use inspection equipment (ID/OD mics, calipers, various other gages) in determining product acceptance.
  • Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision.

Experience and Skill Required

  • A minimum of 4 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting.
  • Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply/inspect to requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift 30lbs
  • Ability to support PPAP sample inspection.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required.
