Job description

Job Description

The responsibilities will include being a main point of contact for the customer handling any customer complaints efficiently and accurately.  At least 50% of the time will be involved in troubleshooting quality issues on the manufacturing floor. Will be responsible for understanding AIAG functions (PPAP, APQP). Will have responsibility for a line start to the final product. Works directly with Floor supervisors and Process Engineers on root cause analysis and on the floor problem solving.

*Attend design and program management gate review and launch team meetings

*Perform launch capability studies to evaluate launch process

*Responsible for PPAPs and customer launch documentation

*Work with cross functional teams to develop launch control plant and work instructions

*Collaborate with plant quality and process engineers on launch activities

MUST HAVE:

- Associate degree in Engineering

- 3+ years’ experience in Quality

- Experience with AIAG functions related to new product launch (APQP, PPAPS)

- Experience with new launches

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, documentation, and engineering fundamentals

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.27/hr.
