As an Inspector at Power Solutions, you will partner with Engineering, Tech Ops, Quality, Production, Service and customers to inspect product. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Prin Quality Engineer.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Performing first detailed inspection of incoming or purged parts, materials, components,
assemblies, equipment and document results.
• Coordinate the collection and disposition of purged material.
• Determine or assist in determining methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection.
• Works from written procedures, drawings, sketches and specifications.
• Generates Engineering Change Requests to correct drawing issues noted during inspection.
• Adapts inspection measuring devices and procedures where necessary.
Skills You Bring:
Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of related experience
• IPC 610 and 620 certifications preferred
• Inspection of sheet metal and/or cables & wire assembly preferred
• Piece part inspection preferred
• Experience with Oracle, Agile, MS Office and Copilot preferred
• Requires inspection experience, an understanding of inspection techniques, reading, writing and intermediate mathematical skills and the ability to use specialized equipment, read difficult instructions, maintain written records, interpret and utilize blueprints and engineering drawings

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $18.89 - 31.49 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
