Job Summary:
InterSystems is a creative data technology provider, delivering a unified foundation for next-generation applications for healthcare and other sectors. The Senior Quality Development Engineer will work within a cross-functional Agile team to enhance the quality, performance, and usability of clinical software, contributing to the development and maintenance of innovative healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Contribute as a technical specialist in a cross-functional Agile development team building and maintaining clinical software.
โ€ข Develop functional testing strategies to validate application performance, security, and interoperability.
โ€ข Collaborate with other Agile teams on joint projects to advise and deliver work of high quality and caliber.
โ€ข Identify, document and bring awareness to functional and non-functional issues in application from design through to validation.
โ€ข Create and maintain a suite of both automated and manual regression test scripts for continuous integration systems.
โ€ข System management tasks to support testing activities.
โ€ข Design and build scripts to support testing activities.
โ€ข Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline.
โ€ข 6+ years professional IT experience.
โ€ข Understands web or mobile development technologies.
โ€ข Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
โ€ข A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software products.
โ€ข Be able to drive tasks forward independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
โ€ข Good understanding of the SDLC and software testing principles.
Preferred:
โ€ข Selenium or Appium experience is advantageous.
โ€ข Experience in testing AI is advantageous.
โ€ข Qualifications and/or certifications in AI are advantageous.
โ€ข Technical proficiency in at least 1 programming language is advantageous.
โ€ข System administration or DevOps experience is advantageous.
