Job description

EHC is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspectors for a client in the Houston, Tx area.

Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Pay Rate: $16.00-$19.00

Job Summary:

The quality control inspector must monitor the manufacturing and production processes to ensure that products are made in accordance with requirements and specifications. It also entails helping customers understand quality standards, ensuring that all products meet their contract specifications and standards. Final inspection must be conducted for all material leaving the machine shop.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tape measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
  • Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
  • Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
  • Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
  • Participate in routine visual inspections
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to enter data into report

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in changing climate conditions in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • At least 6 months experience
  • Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
  • Forklift experience
  • Must be able to do simple math
  • Ability to interpret technical product specs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)
