Warehouse Supervisor (Quality Inspection)

Location: Sparks, NV 89437

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor (Quality Inspection) to join our team in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will oversee warehouse operations with a strong focus on quality control and inspection processes to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the quality inspection team to ensure all products comply with quality standards.
  • Supervise a shift
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines and all the policies and ensure inspectors follow safety guidelines, all the policies and quality standards
  • Train inspectors on proper time/data completion
  • Conduct opening and closing briefing daily
  • Allocate manpower based on clients build plan and sort list
  • Conduct sort and cycle time study
  • Conduct on-site audits of inspections, PPE, WI compliance, and training records
  • Monitor and audit on-site activities to prevent part mixing, incorrect backfilling, and other operational issues.
  • Investigate unusual parts and abnormal inspection results.
  • Perform actual inspections when necessary for efficiency and cost purposes.
  • Provide on-floor support and assume inspection responsibilities when sorting volume decreases
  • Audit line side and warehouse inventory to ensure no un-certified stock is in shelf locations and order inventory in a timely manner
  • KPI monitoring
  • Manage timesheet, inspection report and supervising inspectors' work and documentation
  • Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
  • Communicate any issues to direct supervisor immediately
  • Be punctual and competent, attentive, responsible
  • Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required, College or above preferred
    • Language: Fluent in English
    • Excel, Google Form
    • Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to travel between locations.
    • Able to work in warehouse and factory
    • Can frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50lbs and climb a 10" step and back down
