Job Description:

AriensCo is seeking a dynamic Inventory Control Technician to support manufacturing and accounting by continuously validating/correcting system defined inventory balances based upon an actual on-hand count.

4 x 10 work schedule Mon.-Thur.

The Day To Day...

  • Support safe operations of machine and tools, following procedures and protocol

  • Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles

  • Manage count priorities to ensure that the total inventory value is counted

  • Outline distribution centers on a daily basis

  • Assist quality control in removing scrap from inventory

  • Reconcile inventory balances

  • Cycle count all Finished Goods and Engines to ensure that system balances equal counted balances

  • Investigate discrepancies and understand rationale behind all adjustments

  • Manage inventory by identifying and eliminating problems

  • Understand the interrelationships between all functional areas that affect inventory balances and the associated transactions that occur

  • Perform internal audits as necessary

  • Assist and communicate directly with external auditors

  • Work, support and assist Material and Manufacturing Leaders

  • Ability to problem solve effectively

The Qualifications...

  • Associates degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training
  • Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills needed
  • Able to frequently walk, sit for approximately 8 hours a day
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire for personal development and growth
