Job description

Main Responsibilities
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring product quality for work-in-process, finished products, and raw materials by following established methods and procedures. This opening is at our liquid coatings facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee.


Duties:ย 
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits on the liquid coatings produced at our facility to ensure compliance with company and customer standards
  • Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Operates lab equipment required to perform job functions.ย  (Color spectrophotometers, scales, air mixers, spray guns, gloss meter, DFT gauge, light booth, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes
  • Collect and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance records


Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality technician or color matching role
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and conducting quality inspections
  • Experience with data collection and analysis for quality management purposes
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
