Job description

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Quality Engineer Intern (part-time, 15-20 hours per week). This position will be in Rolla, MO.
Summary:
This intern will support quality and manufacturing engineering by analyzing process data, maintaining quality documentation, assisting with customer and change-control documentation, and helping improve manufacturing performance through data-driven process improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering personnel on the implementation and maintenance effective SPC practices to monitor, stabilize and improve the manufacturing process and maintaining specification sheets for RMs, IMs, and FPs.
  • Assist in documentation updates to ensure all the health of the Quality Management System.
  • Drive reduction in scrap by identifying trends in product and process data identified in the weekly trend review.
  • Assist in completing customer required documentation.
  • Compile and analyze data and assist in the production of data packages for change control and customer notifications.
  • Complete other duties as requested.
  • Participate in Brewer Scienceโ€™s Intern Program activities
Credentials and Education:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM field, such as Engineering, Engineering Management, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science.
