JOB TITLE: Quality Control TechnicianCuisine Solutions, a premium, fully-cooked frozen food manufacturer, has immediate openings for production workers. Production employees follow procedures and recipes to prepare food with the highest quality standards. You'll work in a safe, high-end environment. WORKING HOURS: 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm)SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring Cuisine Solutions products meet the company's food safety, regulatory, and quality standards. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCEMinimum of 2-5 years' experience working in a restaurant, food industry or sanitation company.Exposure to food industry audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards a plus. Ability to demonstrate values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork, and collaboration, accountability, and performance.Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts and documents quality control inspections/controls.Conducts and documents inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Collect samples from the environment or food product for sensory, microbiological or chemical testing. Perform equipment calibration as established by quality assurance procedures.Responsible for identifying and investigating non-conformities. Coordinates and enforces corrective action for non-conformities with Quality Assurance Manager.Recommends new quality policies and procedures as necessary to ensure high quality products, products, process and services.Observe and report quality issues throughout the food manufacturing facility to Assist in completing corrective and preventative action investigations and any other food safety and quality related action items.Assist with audit preparation as needed.Review quality control records, take necessary actions and retrain production staff as needed.  Cuisine Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
