Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established defense technology company that designs and manufactures secure communications equipment for U.S. military and government customers. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment where you'll inspect electronic products and assemblies to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards before shipment. What You'll Do * Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of electronic assemblies and components * Inspect products using engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation * Verify workmanship, dimensions, and product quality using precision measuring tools * Identify and document non-conforming materials and products * Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues * Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation * Ensure products meet IPC standards and company quality requirements What We're Looking For * 5+ years of quality inspection experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry * Experience inspecting electronic assemblies, PCBs, cable assemblies, or related products * Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation * Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or similar industry standards is highly preferred * Experience using inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work * U.S. Citizenship required * Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Springfield, VA This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable engineering organization supporting mission-critical communications products used by defense and government customers.
