Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards and specifications before they are delivered to clients or end-users. This role involves conducting thorough inspections and tests throughout the production or service process, identifying defects or deviations, and documenting findings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines. The inspector collaborates closely with internal teams to promote a culture of quality, providing guidance on best practices and corrective actions as needed. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential as the inspector must accurately report quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Personnel Requirement

FBNA-ICC operates 24/7/365, including holidays, with normal business hours of 0600โ€“1800, Mondayโ€“Friday (excluding federal holidays). Peak traffic periods are 0600โ€“0900 and 1400โ€“1700. During these hours, the contractor must minimize activities that interfere with personnel movement to and from NGA facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and tests on products, equipment, services, or processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and report defects, deviations, or nonconformances.
  • Verify that corrective actions have been implemented and are effective.
  • Review work orders, checklists, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Use inspection tools and measurement equipment to assess quality and performance.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Communicate quality issues clearly to supervisors, technicians, and management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure all inspections follow regulatory, contractual, and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and promote best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years of quality inspection or related experience.
  • Strong understanding of inspection procedures, measurement tools, and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
