Description

Actalent is currently supporting a Mechanical Contractor in Columbus and we are hiring multiple Mechanical Engineers to help conduct quality control on construction drawings and fabrication drawings within the fab shop of the mechanical contractor.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Work in the fabrication shop of the mechanical contractor and review shop drawings to ensure the mechanical systems (plumbing & HVAC) were fabricated, built, and assembled correctly to the drawings.

Inspect the mechanical and plumbing systems in the fabrication shops before they are shipped out to client job sites

Conduct audits

Work with the fabrication team to help provide guidance if needed on how to correctly build the HVAC or mechanical systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
