Job description

Mancan in Northfield is assisting a local Cleveland company who has a position for Quality Inspector. This is a 1st shift position, 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday and the starting pay will be based on experience. You MUST have previous quality inspection experience.
Candidate will be required to do the following:
1.Perform visual inspections for all finished material
2.Perform coating weight tests for all going material
3.Use flash test to ensure that coating is present
4.Pull raw material if finished parts have problems
5.Prepare stripping solutions
6.Perform daily coating weight determinations on test panels
7.Perform daily SS testing.
8.Maintain and calibrate all scale calipers on calibration list
9.Maintain physical files for coating weight test results and other parts filing documents (testing sheets saved into the computer. New parts and other document filed into the Lab. File cabinet).
10.Assist process technician in performing titration
11.Work schedule will be adjusted by Lab. Manager if needed. Work on Saturday if needed.
12.Complete special projects assigned by Q. A. Manager
13.Clean work area at end of day
