Quality Inspector | $21-$24/hr. based on experience | 1st Shift

Your Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect precision-machined components to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer and industry requirements. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong machining inspection skills who wants to grow their quality career, with the potential to develop toward a Quality Manager role over the next 2–4 years.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform dimensional inspections of machined components, including verification to thousandths of an inch
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
  • Use precision measuring equipment, gauges, and check fixtures to verify part conformance
  • Perform first-article, in-process, and production-run inspections
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain required quality records
  • Support compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a precision machining or CNC manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills
  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Experience working with tight tolerances and inspecting machined components
  • Knowledge of GD&T, first-article inspection, and quality documentation preferred
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems strongly preferred
