Job description

Are you experienced in quality inspection and enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where attention to detail matters

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector for our client in Macon, GA.

This position is responsible for inspecting parts throughout the manufacturing process, verifying quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Fridays as needed)
Payrate: $16-25/hour

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Inspect parts during and after the manufacturing process
  • Verify completed work orders and documentation
  • Use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and tape measures
  • Perform quality checks on materials, parts, and assemblies
  • Support process improvement initiatives and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records using ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs
  • Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Work closely with shop personnel and production teams to resolve issues

Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of Quality Inspector experience required
  • Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Familiarity with CMM processes required
  • Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and ISO 9001 standards required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. without assistance
