Davis Staffing, Inc has immediate needs for a Quality Control Inspector for a customer in Matteson, Il
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing quality inspections on the production line to ensure that products meet established quality and safety standards. This role plays a critical part in preventing defects, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining compliance with quality requirements, especially ina battery pack manufacturing environment.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred

  • Basic knowledge of inspection tools (e.g., calipers, multimeters)

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality standards

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, MES systems)

  • Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections on products and components

  • Conduct visual inspections and functional tests in accordance with inspection standards and work instructions

  • Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products

  • Communicate quality issues promptly to operators, supervisors, and QA team members

  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation and logs

  • Support containment actions when quality issues are identified on the production line

Job Details Include:

  • Temp to Hire

  • Must be able to work a 1st or 3rd shift

  • 1st shift: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Pay: $18 an hour

  • 3rd shift: 8:00 pm - 8:00 am Pay: $19 an hour

  • Must have steel toe boots or steel to shoes
