Quality Control Inspector
Greensburg, LA | Full-Time | Pay: Starting at $25/hr
Southland Steel Fabricators is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. If you have a background in heavy structural fabrication and can read blueprints and welding symbols, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality and compliance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
  • Perform measurements using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other inspection tools
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records
  • Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Communicate production concerns to supervisors and team members
Qualifications
  • Experience in heavy structural steel fabrication preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic shop math skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
