PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for implementing quality control systems designed to ensure our products meet applicable industry quality standards. Quality Control Inspector responsibilities include making certain that the production and manufacturing processes are performed to meet quality standards, performing inspection of equipment and components at various stages of the production cycle, and maintaining ISO 9001 required documentation as well as regulatory listings and markings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform inspections throughout the production cycle, including receiving, in-process, and final inspection, before shipment.
  • Verify conformance to engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and applicable UL standards
  • Generate nonconformance reports, gather evidence, and support MRB disposition activities.
  • Investigate and support resolution of customer issues and complaints relating to product quality or workmanship.
  • Develop basic statistical tracking of recurring QC issues and contribute to process improvements that reduce defects and rework.
  • Provide technical feedback to production, engineering, and test teams to prevent quality escapes.
  • Coordinate inspection activities with production teams to support workflow, schedule, and maximize product reliability.
  • Perform final QC verification on all products and equipment entering and leaving the plant.
  • Apply regulatory and compliance labels according to UL and internal requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate's degree in engineering, science, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or production environments.
  • Experience in electrical assembly, switchgear, panel fabrication, or industrial equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, UL standards, and basic quality tools is desirable.

  • Continuously lift, up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to bend, squat, climb, and access tight spaces inside enclosures and assemblies.

Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $35.58 - $47.11
