Quality Control Inspector - Marine Corp Base Camp PendletonCompetitive Salary and Employer Paid Health Benefits!

EMI Services is looking for a Quality Control Inspector. Primary responsibility of the Quality Control Inspector includes; inspection, monitoring, coordinating and compliance to the quality control program for all work performed by operations and maintenance staff consisting of all electrical, mechanical, HVAC equipment and associated systems (including, PM's and service work orders), alterations and repairs, and subcontractors to ensure that all requirements as specified in the Quality Control Program are achieved. The ideal EMI Quality Control Inspector has experience/training in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/BAS control systems.

Salary

Starting at $65,000 (DOE) plus employer paid insurance!

  • Examine any of a variety of goods, services or operations for conformity to established quality, health, safety, legal, business, ethical or other standards
  • Verify that established standards are maintained relative to such matters as transportation methods; building and facilities maintenance and repair services
  • Verify that permits or licenses have been obtained and are displayed
  • Confer with officials, interpret regulations and codes and assist establishments in altering methods and practices to meet established standards
  • Investigate complaints, prepare report findings and action taken or recommended
  • Recommend changes in standards, administrative procedures, facilities, methods and practices
  • Inform QC Manager of all pertinent problems, irregularities, and other important information within area of responsibility
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of similar experience as well as experience or training in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/BAS control systems
  • Valid driver's license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • U.S. citizenship to Obtain and maintain access to military installations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent amounts of training and experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Carrying objects/boxes/print-outs short distances
  • Extensive work with a computer
  • May require lifting and moving as much as 50 pounds with assistance as needed
  • Use of hands, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and walking
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping
  • Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures (some extreme) and weather conditions
