Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening at one of upstate New York's top hospitals! This hospital is known for its health research programs as well as specialty programs that consistently rank among the best in the nation. Among those services are organ transplant, trauma and burn care, neonatal intensive care unit, comprehensive neuromedicine, cardiology and cancer services

This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time Histotechs OR Histology Technicians/Technologists for either Full or Part Time openings on any shift! The Histotech is responsible for the timely and accurate test analysis using moderately complex methods and/or instrumentation. Reporting of results for patient samples is often interpretive in nature. They are also responsible for instrument maintenance/standardization, daily quality control and adherence to all laboratory policies. For consideration, applicants MUST have his or her NYS license in addition to an Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Histology. HT or HTL ASCP certification also strongly preferred.
