Job description

Titanium Fabrication Corporation, a leader in the field of reactive metal fabrication for defense and oil & gas industries, is looking for an experienced hands-on inspector who can also prepare and submit quality documentation to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine dimensional and NDT inspections for on-going work in the shop
  • Witness, approve/reject fit-up and work in progress
  • Receive and inspect incoming material shipments compared to PO and log documentation files
  • Assures final project meets applicable quality standards
  • Maintaining traceability for materials
  • Works with customer inspectors to ensure inspections are done properly and efficiently
  • Produce and submit all required customer quality documentation
  • Assist sales and engineering personnel with code and quality questions and issues
  • Perform quality inspections at sub-contractors facilities and maintain reports on vendor performance

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with all inspection tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of welding and machining
  • Knowledge of military specifications and experience with defense contracts a plus
  • Any NDE certifications are a plus (RT-Level II, PT-Level II, UT-Level II)
  • Solid technical background with understanding of and/or hands-on experience in Q.C. in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
