Job description

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for temporary part time Inspectors who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location.  This position reports to the Quality Manager. 
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities 
  • To efficiently and safely operate equipment or perform operations necessary to 100% inspect and pack parts for shipment. 
  • Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.
  • Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to ensure continuation of control conditions.
  • Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
  • Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, and others with a need to know. 
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
  • Assist in training other inspectors.
Qualifications
  • Able to read and understand procedures, process sheets, manuals, etc. 
  • Able to do basic math calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing  
  • Understand decimals, fractions, percentages, averages, etc.
