Job description

Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable candidates for a Quality Inspection position for a company in Erie, PA. This is a 1st shift position with a starting pay rate of $16/hour.
Quality Inspector
Shift: 1st shift--7am-4pm Monday through Thursday, 7am-1:30pm Friday
Pay Rate: starts at $16/hour
Screening Process: resume submittal, face to face interview with the company
Job Duties
  • Visual inspection of manufactured parts for defects to ensure conformance with work orders
  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to maintain production quality.
  • Candidate will visually inspect approximately 800 parts per hour.
  • Use of precision measuring devices to include micrometes, calipers, gauges and scopes
  • Complete documentation to coincide with the specific quality checks to document inspection results and report defects,
  • Production work to include racking parts
  • Packing parts for shipping
  • Shop clean-up
  • Follow safety requirements
  • Other duties as needed
  • Detail required makes this position repetitive and somewhat monotonous
Qualifications
