Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector performs a variety of inspections and tests on electronic and hardware components. This is a great opportunity to work for a fund, casual and dynamic company with an opportunity to grow.


Responsibilities

  • Perform a high-volume of time sensitive inspections of electronic components to applicable quality standards, manufacturer specifications and order requirements.
  • Report visual non-conformities and findings to Quality Control Manager.
  • Ensure and document accurate results of inspections, tests and work conducted.
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
  • Handling and packaging sensitive products within customer and industry standards.


Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit for extend periods, have good vision, meticulously handle products and provide overtime support as needed.
  • Candidates must be quick, motivated, focused, analytical, methodical, organized, articulate, innovative, detailed, vigilant, multi-task oriented and team player.
  • English speaking, reading, and writing skills, basic mathematics, and metrics.
  • Must demonstrate product drawing and specification comprehension, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to use tablets, cameras, microscopes, calipers, weight scales, counters, computers, email and internet.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have 6+ months experience with electronic or hardware component quality control inspection experience.
  • Priority consideration will be given to candidates that possess significant experience in inspecting/testing, handling, and packaging of electronic components.
  • Preferred industry standards experience includes ISO 9001, AS9100, AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, MIL-STD-883, ANSI/ESD-S20.20, JESD22-B101, J-STD-033, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610.
  • Prior working experience with test laboratories, circuit board assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, independent or franchise distribution is strongly desired.
